🏠 Storage & Care

Keep your chocolates in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally between 60–70°F (16–21°C). Avoid refrigerating them unless your home is very warm, as refrigeration can cause sugar bloom (white dusty spots) which doesn't affect taste. Never expose to strong odours as chocolate absorbs them easily.
Our chocolates have a freshness window of 3–6 months depending on the variety. Truffles with fresh cream fillings have a shorter shelf life of 2–3 weeks and should be consumed promptly. The best-before date is printed on every box.
Yes! You can freeze most of our chocolates for up to 3 months. Wrap them tightly in cling film and then a freezer bag. Allow them to come to room temperature slowly (still wrapped) before eating to avoid condensation and bloom.

📦 Ordering

Absolutely! For custom orders (personalised boxes, corporate gifting, wedding favours), please contact us through our contact page or email support@cocoajoy.com. We accommodate most customisation requests with at least 5 business days' notice.
Yes! We offer special pricing for corporate and bulk orders (50+ boxes). Our team can also create custom-branded packaging with your company logo. Contact us at support@cocoajoy.com for a personalised quote.
Yes! During checkout, you'll find an optional "Gift Message" field where you can add a personal note (up to 150 characters). The message is printed on a premium CocoaJoy card and included in your order at no extra charge.

🚚 Shipping & Delivery

We offer fresh, temperature-controlled delivery nationwide. Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days. Express (1–2 day) shipping is available at checkout. Free standard shipping applies to all orders over $40.
Yes! During warmer months we use insulated packaging with ice packs to ensure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition. For destinations with extreme heat, we strongly recommend express shipping for maximum freshness.
Currently we ship within the USA only. International shipping is on our roadmap and we hope to offer it by late 2025. Sign up to our newsletter to be notified when international shipping launches.

🎁 Gift Packaging

Yes! Every CocoaJoy order can be elegantly gift-packaged at no extra charge. Simply select "Gift Packaging" at checkout. Our signature gold-ribbon boxes are perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and any celebration.
Absolutely! Enter the recipient's address in the shipping field and your address (or any address) in the billing field. The packing slip we include never shows prices, making it perfect for gifting.

↩️ Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns for change of mind. However, returns and full refunds are accepted for damaged, incorrect, or spoiled orders within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us with photos of the issue.
We're so sorry to hear that! Please email us at support@cocoajoy.com with your order number and clear photos of the damaged items within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — your choice.

🌱 Dietary & Allergens

Yes! Our "Vegan & Gluten-Free" range is 100% plant-based — no dairy, no animal products. They're certified vegan and absolutely delicious. All other products contain dairy and/or other animal-derived ingredients.
Many of our products contain nuts or are produced in a facility that handles nuts. Each product page lists full allergens. If you have a severe nut allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can advise you on safe choices.
Our entire "Vegan & Gluten-Free" range is certified gluten-free. Some of our standard dark chocolates are also naturally gluten-free — look for the GF label on the product pages.
